Black Belt 2nd Degree

Professor Gustavo Pires started to train Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with the age of 15 years old, under the tutelage of Prof. Marcio Feitosa and master Carlos Gracie Jr.  Professor Gustavo is being an active competitor defending the Gracie Barra name and traditions for more than a decade with many accomplishments on the competition scenario, including the most prestigious events  such as the Pan –American Championships and Brazilian Nationals championships titles.  Receiving his black belt in 2003 from the hands of Master Carlos Gracie Jr. himself.

Besides his work as a great competitor in BJJ, Prof. Gustavo is being sharing his knowledge and experience by teaching  in several different places , in Europe and Brazil, including  in the legendary Gracie Barra School in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
